The two weeks at the MTC was a rather intense experience but served to get us "out of the world" and in to the Missionary mode. The next picture shows us with M. Russell Ballard, my cousin who set us apart at his home the Monday evening of our first day in the MTC. The next two pictures show me outside of the Melvin J Ballard building at the MTC and then viewing his picture just inside the entrance. (as most of you know he was one of the great apostles of this dispensation and mine and Elder M Russell Ballard's grandfather).

Our MTC experience in Provo

Sorry for the delay and lack of pictures. You know how technology is and learning curves, so lets try again. We have been in England for five weeks and will go back to square one and catch you up on our adventure. Here you see us entering the MTC on January 29, 2007. We are pointing to the world map in the foyer of the MTC in Provo and our location where we will be operating from as we cover the UK and the Republic of Ireland (a separate country).

Getting ready to go to England

In eight weeks we will be attending our first church service in England (February 10, 2007). We have just six weeks left before we enter the MTC (January 29, 2007). Its almost panic time. The picture of the place on the Christmas card was not our actual residence but of the area. The one posted below is. This picture of us is not up to date but Barbara still looks the same, but as for me, oh well what can you say.
